Jeff Mills as the Wizard

Dave Clarke’s electro set last week really got me into old school electro again. One of my favorite old school sets is the reunion set Jeff Mills did as the Wizard on WJLB in 2001. Although I think it’s really different from the shows he did when he really was the Wizard in the 80’s, this is a great mix on it’s own. He ploughs through a big stack of vinyl making it hard to keep track of what he actually is playing. I also love the excitement you can hear in the voice of The Bushman and the callers that get through that Mills is playing as the Wizard again.
